This catio is really attractive. It seems solid and is spacious. I wish the small doors swung inward instead of out - that doesn’t make much sense to me - that’s why I gave 45 instead of 55. Oh, and also some of the pieces didn’t fit well together and sort of cracked when drilling in. It doesn’t seem to impact the integrity initially, though.. Mindy. Pnw. Tue Oct 20 2026

We are very happy with this catio. We kept telling ourselves that we’d build one from scratch. 4 years later of procrastination and it was easier to buy this set up and spend 3-4 hours on a beautiful Saturday setting it up. We are glad we went with the taller one to cover the whole window. Some say it’s not sturdy but as soon as we bolted it to the house it became more trustworthy. The winds here in CO could take this down otherwise.. Anonymous. Sun Oct 25 2026

I purchased this insulated feral cat house for a sweet stray kitten who started visiting my yard. I love that its insulated, water-resistant, and windproof, which gives me peace of mind during bad weather. The hinged roof opens easily for cleaning and checking inside, and the two exits provide an important escape route so feral cats dont feel trapped. I absolutely love this catio cat run and my cats are enjoying getting to be outside in the grass! I also purchased the two story heatedinsulated cat house and it fits perfectly inside. (I assembled it from inside the cat run so that I would not have trouble fitting it through the door.) The only problem I had was that some of the instructions for assembling the cat run were incorrect, but it wasn’t hard to figure out how to remedy the correction. I would also recommend using extra screws to secure the bridge, part N, to the other part N, beside it.The instructions said to build the cat boxes in the uncovered area of the cat run, but I will most likely be moving them to the covered area. Also, the instructions say it only takes 2 hours to assemble and it took us several hours to assemble. We used a Dewalt drill to assemble and I recommend this vs. only using a screw driver.. This cat house comes with a unique heated liner which is made of high density sponge and fabric with PVC coating. It can help your cats keep from cold weather hurts, give them a warm house. Provides ample space for 1-2 cats and rabbits and other small animals.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this went together and the instructions were easy to follow. The pieces were not all labeled however they were easy to identify. The instructions told you an extra screw of each size was included so you did t think you forgot to use one. I was able to put it together easily by myself (65 year old woman)just needed help to put it outside. The heating pads worked very well and I think the cats will be very warm this winter. The observation window is obstructed by the insulation so you cannot see the cats inside while it’s inserted. I’m going to use a timer for the heating pads so I don’t use electricity all day when the cats are away. Overall I’m very pleased with this product. Terri. GA. Wed Oct 28 2026

This cat house keeps every kitty warm with a waterproof PVC heating pad and chew proof cord, ready for winter nights. The built-in safety heating pad features a low-voltage design that provides a constant temperature for even heat distribution, with a temperature range between 95°F and 113°F, ensuring your cat stays warm in cold weather. The heating pad is constructed from multiple layers of materials, including waterproof Oxford cloth, PVC, and insulating sponge, to ensure safe usage. The upgraded chew-resistant cable is designed to withstand the natural curiosity of cats to chew, thereby extending the lifespan of the cable. Additionally, the cable is 5.6 feet long, which is ample for outdoor use. Suitable for various weather conditions, including rain, snow, strong winds, and summer. Its asphalt roof and waterproof materials ensure durability and water resistance, providing a safe and comfortable outdoor shelter for your pet.

This will be great for our feral kitty. We haven't had a chance to check out how the cat likes the inside or how the heating pad works in the cold, but right now, the kitty likes being underneath the deck. The complaints about the dirt is just referencing the granules that come off of the roofing material ... be sure to assemble in a place where you can clean them up easily. Assembly was a bit challenging, for things like attaching the housing unit to the deck ... it's hard to get underneath to drive in the screws and I would recommend drilling holes through the decking first, not much room to maneuver and at this point you can't really turn it on it's side and keep things aligned. I used a short phillips screwdriver to set the screws, then turned it on its side to tighten them. Roof assembly was a bit challenging. there's no real positioning instructions so I used the aggregate on the short side pushed up to the housing part for alignment. Screwing in the roof was also a challenge. After positioning, I marked the hinge screw holes with a pencil, took off the roof pieces (did this one by one), drilled holes (btw, drill larger holes in the door strip flap attachment and other small wood pieces to keep the wood from splitting), put the roof pieces back on, and screwed them in ... not much room to maneuver here either ... I had to rest the unit on my knee to elevate it to screw in the hinges. The last challenge was putting on the roof peak piece, not really clear on the instructions. I turned it positioned it so it laid the flattest ... may not me exact center, but pretty close, then screwed it in ... on side only where the pre-drilled holes are. The roof support pieces you need to position as in the instruction diagram ... the one screw hole/screw acts as a pivot hinge to open and rest the roof part on ... not shown in the diagram. The unit is pretty big, much bigger than I anticipated. No complaints, but be prepared ... you could sublet it to college students. So far, I pleased with the purchase. I'd have given 5 stars if assembly went smoother ... perhaps you can benefit from my notes. The assembly was a bit. Bob. Brentwood, TN. Wed Sep 23 2026

Why Your Cats Need a Catio? The outdoors is full of potential dangers for cats. Toxins, predators, vehicles, and even the potential of getting lost can all threaten your cat’s life. But that doesn’t mean that your indoor-only cat can’t enjoy the outdoors. A practical solution is getting a catio, which lets your cat go outdoors and enjoy plenty of fresh air while still being safely contained. If your indoor cat is bored or spends lots of time looking out the window, he might enjoy a catio.

The wall-mounted design links directly to your home, letting your cat freely explore indoors and outdoors. With a protective safety net, six jumping platforms and two ramps, it provides a secure, fun space for 2–3 cats to explore, climb, and relax in their own space.

Good size for our 2 cats. Wood is very lightweight but it does sturdy up when attached to the house. I did paint all wood parts with our house color and painted the wire black to make it more see through. Added a door handle/knob too. It’s cuter and blends in much better with these touches. Hoping it will also extend the life of the catio given our weather extremes. It’s attached to our garage and the cats seem to like it. It’s the tallest one we could find - it’s sleek and not too big.. Christie. Glenrock, WY. Mon Jul 13 2026

It works for our one kitty but would likely be too small for more than one, unless they're kittens. Its quality and durability are as expected for the price. I don't think I'd buy 2 and join them together. If I wanted a bigger enclosure, I'd just buy something else. We connected a tunnel from the kitty door on the house to the bottom door on the enclosure and our cat is free to come and go. It works for me!. April. Brookings, OR. Mon Aug 03 2026

Love this little cathouse! My husband and I built a deck to elevate the house for our two stray cats. They haven’t gone inside yet, but have been up on the deck to eat and check out the house. I have no doubt once they try it out they will love it❤️. It seems to be a fairly sturdy little house and was pretty easy to put together. The assembly instructions were disappointing and lacked the clarity and detail needed for a smooth assembly process. Despite the numerous pieces involved, the instructions didn't adequately explaining how components should fit together. More detailed, step-by-step directions and clearer illustrations would have made the assembly process much easier and far less frustrating.. Lorri. Franklinton, NC. Sat Oct 17 2026
