I was able to repurpose parts of the scratcher that I was replacing, so I had a sturdier carpeted base and the older post that I inverted so that he can still have a taller area to scratch. The only reason I removed one star is that the frame around the sides is pretty flimsy. It’s not made of stiff cardboard like most other scratching boards. It’s more of a very heavy paper stock. The build was pretty straight forth but did take awile to finish as there was a lot of parts and screws! They have not used the wheel yet as intended as they will still need to be trained to run/ walk the wheel for treats in exchange!
