Great bed. My dogs love it. It seems very soft but there’s enough padding that they won’t flatten it out soon. That’s a big problem with most soft dog beds and large breed dogs. It’s a big dog bed that all the pets have enjoyed lounging on. But, it was difficult to “assemble”. The stuffing is self contained in three separate sheaths. Those had to be inserted into the shell. Each sheath of stuffing was filled to the brim and had to be crammed into one, large opening and zipped up. It was rather frustrating. I broke a sweat trying to get it all zipped up. I purchased the small size pet bed for my 13 year old Shih Tzu. He had ruined both of his pet beds and we were in desperate need for a new one. As soon as we put this bed together he cuddled up into the bed right away. The material is high quality and the padding/cushions are as well.
