I’ve put together steel boxsprings before, and this was by far the easiest one I’ve ever assembled. The instructions were clear, and everything fit together smoothly without frustration. One of my favorite features is the included cover. It neatly conceals the steel frame, giving it a clean, polished look instead of the typical exposed metal. That detail really elevates the overall appearance. We actually bought this because the bedframe we ordered required a boxspring, which we didn’t realize at first. My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. For reference, the two of us on our queen double pillow top mattress with four additional mattress tops are roughly 650lbs all together. This split frame easily holds all of the combined weight.
