Large Collapsible Humane Live Animal Cage Trap for Raccoon, Opossum, Stray Cat, Rabbit, Groundhog and Armadillo - 32" x 10" x 12"

This Humane Live Animal trap was easy to assemble and arrived quickly. I ordered this trap because we have been feeding a stray orange tabby cat since Aug. 2024. I love cats and thought I would have tamed him by now, but he is still very shy. He was sleeping in an outdoor shelter for feral or outdoor cats that I got from Wayfair, but despite months of food and a dry place to sleep, I finally decided to trap him. Even if I cannot tame him and adopt him, I want to get him fixed and get all the vaccinations an outdoor cat needs so at least he will be healthier. However, before I could use the trap, he disappeared in February. I hope he comes back, but right now the trap is in our entry hall. Truthfully, I have not tried to set it, because if Milo returns, I want to get him used to eating in the trap for a few days before springing it on him. But the trap comes with instructions and it does not look difficult. Our indoor-only cat Levon is a large 15 lbs. boy, and he would fit in there okay, but Milo is smaller, which is good. I thought seeing a large adult cat would give other Wayfair shoppers a sense of scale, depending on what they want to trap and release or trap and adopt. I was surprised but happy that Wayfair carries something like this. Now I just hope I get the chance to use it.

I have a rabbit who is persisting in raiding my garden and needs to get out. This is a handy live trap and easy to set up. I like that it folds down so I can put it away when it isn’t in use, and the rear spring pin makes for easy release of the critter instead of having to open the front of the trap to get it out. I have smaller sizes of a similar trap that don’t fold down and don’t have the rear release option.

This is just what I have been looking for! We have pesky critters that show up in our yard that we have had to pay to have relocated. This trap is the right size for the destructive armadillos, raccoons, and maybe skunks It is easy to set up and collapses easily for storage. We can relocate to the country in a humane way!

The large animal cage trap is of good size and comes in handy for capturing pesky wild animals on your property so that you can capture and safely transport them to an area far from your home. A very good purchase for those living where wild animals are not welcome.

Great size for trapping feral, adult cats. The written assembly instructions were somewhat difficult to understand, so I just looked at the photos and had it ready-to-go in about 20 minutes. The BEST feature is its EXIT door.....will be a breeze opening it so a trapped cat can go directly into a transport carrier to vet. I trapped two, tiny feral kittens earlier this week in a much smaller loaner trap. Once their mommy is captured, she'll be spayed and, hopefully, will become a barn cat for area farmers.
