Dorrence Wood Platform Bed

Good quality the ordering and delivery went smooth. Had to get someone to put the beds. I also bought mattresses happy with the twin beds and the mattresses.

yes, it does look nice but.... Way too hard to build, needlessly shipped in too many pieces. The head board, for example, is like 7 different pieces with dozens of screws. Took forever to build, was a real pain, and feels rickety. Would definitely not buy from this brand again.

The bed looks great and seems very sturdy. However, the worst part of assembly was that circle cut outs weren’t deep enough to screw the bolts on, and we had to Dremel out the wood to be able to screw the bolts on.

This bed isn't that well constructed. The finish had many flaws. A piece of hardware broke in half easily when tightening. It's a little low, although it's not made for a box spring (picture has a low profile box spring under the mattress). The drilling/machining doesn't match up perfectly which makes assembly a little tricky. I actually didn't think the instructions were too bad unlike a few other reviews. The positives are that if you get it assembled the wood is pretty solid and it's pretty sturdy. For the price it's pretty nice looking. I bought the Queen size around $200 and feel pretty happy with it, over $500 I probably would be patient and look for a better deal or a used piece

Do not purchase this product. Multiple wayfair products contain cancer causing chemicals some products it is listed under specifications. Mine was on a sticker after I assembled the bed for two hours. Consumer service is having me purchase boxes to send back to them. Check all your wayfair products.

Nice quality for the price. The instructions were pretty easy to follow and it took about 2 hours to put together by myself. It's for a guest room, so I haven't tried it out, but the bed seems pretty sturdy.

I picked this bed to put in my spare room for guests. I got it in white and full size. The room is small and I was concerned the bed would over power the room. But it completely does the opposite. The white brights the room up and it feels bigger. The bed was easy to put together. But it really is a two man job. This is the first bed I have gotten that doesnt need a box spring. It is wonderful. Also I love the design of the headboard. It adds texture to the look. I highly recommend this bed.

Very nice wood bedframe. Solid wood and needed to assemble the actual headboard. No trouble for someone handy like my husband. Took about an hour to put everything together. Even came with two long grippy stickers that help prevent the mattress from slipping on the platform. My daughter loves her new bed and it looks great!
