Needed a space for my chicks after hatching that was spacious and could transition with them during a 6 week grow out phase. I really liked this. I like the side door access that opens readily into the space and is wide enough to get in. I like the height that allowed for me to hang a heat conduction lamp on the inside instead of sitting one on top of the wired roof. I did have to reinforce the top with wider wood panel frame to better support the wire mesh top otherwise if a cat jumped on top I wouldn't have been suprised if there wouldn't have been issues with wire integrity given that the frame is pretty simple. It is a very nice chicken coop. It is well made and easy to assemble. The color shown is the color of the actual product. It is very cute and looks great. It is easy to move around and I didn't have a concern that anything would be able to get in with my chickens and kill them. The reason I am giving 4 stars is that it is a very, very small coop. I moved and only had one chicken left. I wanted to take her with me because she is 11 years old and my new farm didn't have any kind of chicken coop area. I purchased this thinking it would be a great place for her live out her life. However, it is extremely small. I couldn't stand to see her in such a small area. I think it might be a great area for a couple of bunnies or if you need a place to put small chicks before you integrate them into an adult flock of chickens. I wish it was bigger because it is nicely constructed, easy to assemble and the colors worked for my farm. I will now just resell on Marketplace as I already have it all assembled and didn't want to try and repackage to send back. Excellent duck coop. Easy to set up with my grand childrens assistance. I added more layers of poultry wire and hardware cloth to the sides and top make break-ins more difficult. Also hardware cloth used as ground floor and apron covered with sod and then pine shavings. Placed the heavy duty XL anti-diggers around the perimeter. We have not had any intrusions in this set-up..
