Evgenia Oriental Teal/Brown Area Rug

Came as expected love the design and color of the rug no issues there however, after having this rug for a few months it has an aweful skunky smell to it and I've tried everything to get rid of it! It gets sun exposure during the day and when I get home from work my house smells so bad... I have to junk this rug after only having it for 3 months. From what i looked up its the chemical smell from the material the rug is made of and cant be covered up. Beware if your area gets alot of sun where the rug will be do not get this rug.

I loved this rug and its colors at first, but we’ve had it now for a year and it hasn’t held up. The rug has gone flat and matted and the texture is horrible now … I feel like my feet actively sweat when standing on this rug. I regret buying it and wish we’d looked at a wool rug instead. The only pros are its vibrant colors and lovely pattern.
