Love this pressure cooker! I've been using an aluminum PC for years, but recently changed to an induction cooktopand needed an induction compatible PC. It's easy to close the lid securely, to tell when pressure has been achieved, and to quick release the pressure. Yes, it's expensive, but I'll have it the rest of my life and pass it on when I die. I've been cooking with Instant Pots the last several years but I wanted to check out the pinnacle of German cookware, so I invested in the Fissler. So far, it has been absolutely excellent, very good design, very intuitive and I have absolutely loved the results. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy Hamilton Beach appliances for their ease of use, clean up, durability and cost compared to other brands in the same market. I have other Hamilton Beach slow cookers of various sizes that are used regularly and this new design is beautiful, also love how the base is raised off of the counter more than previous models so it doesn’t get as hot where it is sitting. The controls are very simple to set and know which setting you are on and at throughout the cooking time because of the white light. Clean up is a breeze as the lid and cooking crock are both able to go in the dishwasher but also clean up well after a little soaking and scrubbing, the heating element wipes down great too (once it has cooled down) and keeps it looking new. The cooking seemed very even, no hot spots and didn’t seem to run too hot or not hot enough.
