It's important to ensure that the prongs are making proper contact with your dog's skin to ensure the effectiveness of the training. You may need to trim your dog's hair or fur in the areas where the collar makes contact to ensure a good connection. The shock does not work, what can I do? Put the unit vertically on the prongs and use one hand to press it to make them contact well, and then press the shock button on the remote. Red light will flash on the unit which means the shock function can work. Do not test it on yourself with clothes, which will not work because it can not form a current circuit. If it works on tester light, it means the product is ok. Then check the following problem: If your dog is too large or if it has too much fur/long fur, please screw on the longer prongs. And please separate the fur around the prongs to make sure the prongs have better contact with the dog's neck skin. Make sure the collar is not too loose, 1 finger insert is ok. When the collar is on your dog, please try to increase the shock intensity gradually.
