NOT machine washable. First of all, even if you lug it to the laundromat to use the enormous washer, instructions say not to use detergent. Plus, even in the enormous washer, rug can’t move about- stays folded up. So it doesn’t really get clean. Then, when you roll it back out it is all misshapen and wrinkled and never flattens back out.

Nice rug. However it is not slip resistant and it has a slight skunk smell.

It was a great option and colors were perfect for my room .

Several people commented that the material is shiny. It does have a slight sheen to it. From one direction it looks very light depending on how the light hits it in your room and from the other direction is is darker and looks more like the pictures online. I think how it looks in your house depends on the direction you lay it down and where the light source is coming from. I had it in a room with a lot of light and it was very washed out and shiny looking but then moved it to a room with less natural light and it looked more saturated. I don’t think this can fold up in my washing machine and I have a normal/large size washer . For the price though it will do what it needs to do. I’ve purchased nicer washable rugs at a similar price point the same size that fit in my washer. Looks like it will spot clean well.

The color was perfect! Very nice rug for a great price, it does have a chemical odor, but with windows open that should dissipate soon.
