My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I bought this 2-story cat condo and overall I’m really happy with how it turned out once assembled. The design is adorable — it looks like a little house and actually blends in nicely with home décor instead of looking like typical bulky cat furniture. The structure feels sturdy once built, and I like that it has multiple levels, platforms, and hideaway spaces so my cat can climb, perch, or nap inside. It’s not oversized, so it fits well against a wall or in a corner without taking up too much space, but still gives plenty of vertical activity for cats.
