You can't go wrong with this bed in the camel color. It is absolutely gorgeous and elegant looking. The bed is comfortable and the perfect height with mattress only. If you add a box spring which ones not needed, it will be too high. The price included assembly which was nice but I believe the delivery guys damaged one of the side panels on the headboard when they opened the box, probably with a box cutter. There is a nice slice in the material. I reported it and Wayfair provided prompt assistance. the bed is so gorgeous!!! it only has 4 wood pieces, so a box spring is definitely recommended because if not, just placing the mattress on top of the wood boards, your mattress will start sinking in between them. other than that only issue the bed itself I’d give it a sign out of 10 it is very sturdy and definitely comfortable to sleep on and adds an aesthetic to your room!!. It was just what we needed, but then we moved....... We are still using it in our new place, but boy can I see what a space saver this would have been in her other room. Not that her current room is large or anything. My soon to be 9 year old daughter is enjoying it , but compared to another bunk I bought through wayfair, it is far less sturdy. I tried to jam it hard into a corner to add as much support as possible. My husband and I also double checked all the connections, but you can feel the pressure on the ladder as you climb up to the top. This bothers me a little, but she is still small enough. It might be a bigger issue for a teenager. For me, it is a notable issue, so I'll place this piece at a 4 star. However, overall, the piece does the trick on space saving with a desk included. Wanted this for someone who would be sleeping and watching television in the bedroom frequently and there wasn’t space for a separate seating area. I paid for assembly and the person was able to build it without any issues. The drawers below are a little flimsy, but love the extra added storage under the bed.
