I LOVED this set when we got it. After a year it started chipping. I covered it with a runner, but now it is happening all over. The chairs have also been a bummer. They look great still, but when you sit on them the center feels like you are sitting on a hole. We are not hard on furniture and I expected better than this. Sad because I shopped so long till I chose this set. I also have the 4door TV stand and the 3 door buffet and they do not have the chipping.

This table wears horribly.. I would not consider his as a formica top. It's like a backed on product that flakes off. I bought the extended warranty and had to repaplace the table top in one year. It is damaged again and thr warranty is expired. The colors is of and hard to match. It should come with outs own tape kit

I have had this table for almost 4 years now and it really has not aged well. The finish on the top has flaked off and the original wood shows underneath. It doesn’t look good at all and I have been considering trying to refinish it but with all the grooves and “weathered” look to the wood I don’t think it would be an easy job. It is a solid table just be aware that it will wear out quickly.

I love my new dinner room, it’s exactly how my husband and I wanted it, great quality and super comfortable highly recommend

I love this table - love the look, love the function. We took all the wine bottle storage dividers out, and it's a game table for us (game boxes fit great!). The only thing I knock it for is this - it doesn't wear great. The tabletop shows every scratch or scuff. The wood underneath the thin surface is MUCH lighter in color than the dark coating, so if you ever use this table with anything heavy (pile of books?) and then drag rather than lift them, you WILL see a significant damage to the top that you can't then easily fix. The surface doesn't seem to absorb Old English or stain. Just so you know. Other than that, GREAT table!

The table is fine but the dining chairs are very rough with splinters that tear at your clothes when you try to sit back.
