Gravity Bookcase

I loved it. Extremely easy to assembly, good quality manufacturing wood and it looks very nice in my room.

I absolutely love it! It looks great even in my tiny studio, holds even the tallest of my books, and is even sturdy enough to serve as a freestanding room divider. The shelves are deep enough to accommodate books of varying sizes while also providing additional storage room (I will be adding more narrow storage bins on the backside). The no tools, mortise-and-tenon joinery is rather good; I took this bookcase from box to built in about 35 minutes, and most of that time, I was able to sit on my rolling stool while doing so (I am recovering from a back injury). The piece arrived in two boxes, one rather light, the other not too heavy but awkward as it had external corner protectors that ran its length. None of the pieces are labelled but it's easy to understand what you're meant to do once you view the graphics-only instruction manual. You're just fitting a puzzle together. All you have to do is to identify the top and bottom shelves, which are packaged together in the lighter box, and it's just insert-and-repeat from there. While this piece is no tools, I would advise having a rubber mallet handy, as the joinery is tight and several of the acrylic tenons required force to drive them flush to the mortise. The rubber mallet is a lot faster and easier than trying to force the joinery through your own muscle power/bodyweight, and also helps you adjust the alignment. You could also just wrap a hammer in a t-shirt; all you need is something that lets you apply force while not damaging the pieces. Overall, from ease of construction to load-bearing to aesthetic, worth every penny.

This bookshelf arrived on time and fits my room perfectly!

It’s clean, simple, well made, I would suggest the bracket to attach to wall, I don’t purchase one. I also pd for installation, so I can’t comment on the difficulty or ease of putting it together.
