Amza Solid Wood Folding Adirondack Chair (Set of 2)

These are awful. Solid only in that they are not liquid. They splinter and feel like they are made of wood salvaged from a fire. It’s brittle and not sturdy at all.

These Adirondack chairs would be easier to assemble if the predrilled holes were completely predrilled. On one chair, the predrilled holes (including the extra one) must have been drilled on a Monday morning, while the person who drilled them was feeling the effects of the Sunday binge. Fortunately, the extra hole is covered by the arm. Also, use a ratchet set and a cordless screwdriver (and not the flimsy tool and a screwdriver) to assemble; you will be happier. I like the chairs, now that they are assembled.

Very nice, racy to put tigether

Look great and relatively easy to assemble. You have to take the pegs out to fold them and it would be nice if they had a cable attached so they don't get lost. But overall I'm very happy with this purchase color and comfort are exactly what I was after. Look great in the garden.

I ordered the natural ones without realizing they wouldn’t have any protective finish, so I had to go out and get clear polyurethane and give them a good coat. Not too big of a problem. They were very easy to assemble (the slatted back and seat were already assembled) so that was a huge plus. After assembling I tested folding them and it did not go smoothly which could be because I got the natural ones. Overall I would say they are good for the price but since they don’t fold as well as I’d like, they are kind of a let down.
