Very easy to put together. Pretty solid. Dimensions are accurate. We put plywood on the top and made a little play area over the bed for our son. He loves it.

We were really excited for this bed, built it and my oldest didn't want to get in the upper bunk yet. They went up a few times playing around. Now that he's ready to sleep on the upper bunk I noticed the 2 legs by the steps have major cracks in them. I tried asking if I could buy replacement parts and they said they don't sell parts. So the upper bunk hardly used is useless.
