This bed is gorgeous. It’s quite big, both width and height so please measure before buying so you know what you’re getting. If I could change anything it would be to remove the extra 3-4 inches at the top of the headboard just above the fabric that doesn’t have the design carved in to it as it is a bit extra. The headboard has a slight curve backwards at the top so the bed doesn’t sit flush against your wall. It is a combination of wood and some other material so it’s not totally wood. Our footboard arrived scratched somehow even though it was boxed up. We had to order a replacement footboard which hasn’t arrived just yet. Otherwise very happy and the bed is sturdy. Update the second footboard arrived damaged in the same spot. I think it’s poor packaging and it gets damaged in transport because there is no styrofoam or bubble wrap or anything at all surrounding the spots that keep getting damaged. I didn’t want to keep receiving new footboards that are also damaged so they offered a slight discount to me. I would have preferred the bed not damaged but at least that’s something. would
