Rafi Solid Wood Writing Desk

Buyer beware! The desk is riddled with mold under the stain. I loved this desk till we were doing some remodeling and decided to strip the desk to its natural state as it states it is pine wood and uncovered a ton of mold on the desk. Spots that you could tell were sanded down prior to staining. I work long hours from this desk and my son and I keep getting sick and now we may know why. I am a long time customer and buy a lot of items from Joss Main and Wayfair and will think twice before ordering anything again from this company.

Ok this desk is nice but just make sure you like the darker color desk in the video dont go by the pictures. This desk is dark brown not the amazing stain color in the picture. Thinking about sending it back do to this info.

I wanted very much to love this. It comes shipped as a desk block and the legs require assembly (screwing them to the desk). (1) The piece of wood that had the screw holes was attached on the wrong side so I had to drill new holes. (2) I expected the legs to have been made of sturdier metal. (3) I love the idea of reclaimed wood, which is what attracted me to the piece. The top of the desk, however, had holes that make me wonder how I am supposed to use it as a writing surface. Given the weight of the desk, I don’t want to pay for shipping to send it back. For the price of the desk, these should not happen.
