Ryder LED Task Floor Lamp

I regret buying this lamp. I originally bought two of these lamps for my reading nook, thinking the LED and the touch-to-turn-on features would be great... I was wrong! First, one lamp's hinge didn't work-- you're supposed to be able to move it around and position anywhere you'd like, but it falls down all the time. The second lamp turned on and off randomly... when you are not touching it or even close by. (My husband and I nicknamed it the phantom lamp.) I sent in a complaint to Wayfair, and they sent me ONE replacement, which was nice. However, the third lamp died immediately. The first time I used it to read, I placed my hand on it to turn it off, and I shocked it. (I live in a cold climate. You know how it gets really staticky in the winter and you can shock people? That's what happened.) Since I shocked it, the third lamp hasn't turned on. I have unplugged and plugged it in again... I have rescrewed stuff... but no. It is dead. So, 0/3 lamps of this model don't work or are semi-broken in some way. I'm disappointed.

Very sleek, good looking. For manufacturer I wish you could adjust the height and I wish the cord weren’t black. For such a minimalist piece, the cord is thick and distracting.

Could be a little taller. It does NOT extend up from the stem, but the light arm flexes to give light higher. We love the low profile. We’re not thrilled that the lights can’t be replaced but if the light really lasts for 50,000 hours, that’s 8 hrsday for 17 years! Good enough! The lamp stopped working after just 5 months! I’m still trying to find out how to report this to Wayfair!

Beautiful light. I got one, then I got another. Very sturdy. Adequate light. Three levels of lighting. Yes….”some assembly required “. My 3 least favorite words…. But only took 5 minutes to assemble. No tools required. Fair price too.

Product suddenly stopped working. Haven't even had this 3 months. Avoid this at all costs. Can't return this. So so sad. Avoid purchasing this lamp.
