super heavy and exactly what I was looking for!

The wine barrels are great. Shipping...not so much. We ordered these on 2/20. On 3/5 we got an email saying they had shipped. 3/18 got an email telling us they would schedule delivery within one business day. On 3/22 they scheduled delivery. We received the barrels on 3/25. Over a month it took to deliver these a little over 400 miles. The one time I called, Wayfair couldn't even tell me where they were...they were looking at the same info I was seeing. I wish they would let us pick stars for the product (gets a 5) and for shipping (gets a 1) separately.

Item was well packaged and overall, it is a great piece for our pub. Two issues were present on the item. First, it came wet on the outside like it was left out in the rain. It eventually dried out. The second issue was that the second steel band ring from the bottom fell off again, due to barrel water saturation which was found beneath the ring/band. I was able to redrill the steel band and secure it. Overall, I like the rustic component of the piece. It is authentic and the smell of wine adds to the authenticity.

Super high quality...truly refurbished with no wine smell. Looks beautiful. I may order another one for the garden. This one is going in the wine cellar. Tall enough for stools beside it.

It was much more authentic in person, very dark and dirty looking. We were just going for the look of a wine barrel to use in a wine room as a table but wanted the pretty light wood shown in the product photo and it to be clean. The one that came was super dark gray, dirty, and looked like it had actually just been used in a harvest. 

Very heavy No idea how I will take it to my basement Rustic unfinished look
