Wayfair Sleep™ 12" Medium Memory Foam Mattress

It’s okay. It was easy to remove from packaging and it is indeed 12”. My partner seems to really enjoy it, but I find it way too firm. It’s described as medium…..but it feels much firmer than that…to me at least. Oh well. Didn’t care for the old mattress anyways so doesn’t make that much difference at the end of the day for me…shrug.

I ordered the Wayfair Sleep 12" Medium Memory Foam Mattress during their Memorial Day sale event, and I am SO glad I did! Mattresses are ridiculously expensive, so I was happy to find this one on sale for a decent price after doing endless research. I'm 30 years old, weigh 150 pounds, and sleep on my side and back. I have several health issues, including chronic neck and back pain due to a past car accident. I consulted my doctor, chiropractor, and physical therapist about my body pain and what type of mattress they’d recommend, since I had been sleeping on an old spring mattress that was affecting my sleep and comfort. They all suggested either "memory foam" or "firm." I personally can't sleep on a firm mattress—I find them incredibly uncomfortable—so I went with the medium option. This mattress feels like a perfect mix between medium and firm, but it’s still soft and squishy, which I love! You will sink into it a bit—because, well, it’s memory foam—so if you don’t like or want that, this might not be the right choice for you (or any foam mattress, for that matter). The only con is that after removing the mattress from the box and letting it expand for over 30 hours, it never fully reached 12 inches. That’s not a huge deal for me—I can’t tell any difference comfort-wise—but I do notice the difference price-wise. Wayfair charges significantly more for the 12" versus the 10", and mine never got to the full 12". I feel like they should adjust the price or offer a reimbursement for the difference, but oh well. It’s comfortable, and I’m already sleeping better! I would still absolutely recommend it.

It was very well packaged, shipped quickly, and it quickly took shape once it was taken out of the packaging. For the price, it is very nice, and my son loves how comfortable it is. I would highly recommend!

Very comfortable, the instructions said it would take 48-72 to fully get back to its original shape but we slept in it the same night and had no issues. It is thick and the perfect firmness. Very fast delivery, and easy to unpack and set up.

Originally bought a 10" version of this for a rental and liked it so much that we bought a second one in 12" for our guest bedroom. I'm a side sleeper and find it just as comfortable as my hybrid mattress I paid much more for.

Perfect!! For me it’s the perfect amount of firm and soft. I’ve never slept better than before getting this mattress. Took about a day to fully expand. No weird smells or anything. I’ve always had spring mattresses and box springs and I’ll never go back.

The box was torn in several places , punctured and retaped where it had been crushed and punctured , it appears to be dropped ,walked on kicked , it looks like it was poorly handled by delivery carrier company and not properly packaged inside since the package at the Wayfair shipping dept ,it was only vacuumed wrapped in a thin plastic sheet and then placed in a less then adequate cardboard shipping box no buffer filler to protect it ,it was way to thin boxing for transport delivery of such a heavy item and easily punctured item .Small indentations from the punctures also damp in the corner from where it was set some near water also that area was just taped over for aesthetic reasons I’m guessing,This is our 2nd bed and had no issues with the first one ,our first bed was superbly shipped by Wayfair and delivered without complaint,Wayfair and shipper missed the mark on this one for sure !lots of Boot marks all over the box too , I am happy with delivery time but the product integrity is a a bigger deal I think !ohh and after 3 days to air absorb air and d compress To get the full memory foam expansion the 12” mattress is NOT 12” how about barely 10” still doesn’t have sheets on it to allow and encourage more fully absorb air in inner memory foam expansion of mattress! Ugghh ,Frustred and mad I want an adjustment on the price for sure ! Deb L

I’ve bough this mattress twice. Each time it lasted 1 year before softening in the center to the point it gave me back pain and poor nights of sleep. Wayfair refuses to honor their warranty. Will never purchase anything from them again.

I like this mattress. It is firm and holds its shape. Good value.
