The product spec says the bench is made of metal, no mention of plastic. We were expecting a fully metal bench. The back of the bench, although framed in steel is made of a plastic material. that is the part with the decorative scrollwork and the word "WELCOME". You need to clean up the product description. Except for that I would rate at 3 or 4 stars.

The description didn't mention that the backrest was plastic. It will work for what I want it for but I am worried about discolration and cracking.

This is a beautiful Metal Bench. It's very sturdy and comfortable to sit on, no need to add a cushion. You can easily sit 3 people. The Welcome that is built-in to the bench gives it a classy look. The rounded corners on the arms helps with that classy look and makes it safer for the kids to be around. It was easy to assemble and as you can see, it looks beautiful.
