Carey Plug-in Filter

Great filter. Cleans the water in my 1200 gallon koi pond in 24 hours. Not hard to clean. The only difficult part of cleaning is getting the o ring right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a difference compared to my old filter. Ever since installing this filter it seems like all of the algae has gone away. I used to think for years that my old filter was working fine until I saw what this one could do. I love how it can be partially installed underground which helps with the aesthetics. It’s been running for a couple months and I still have not needed to clean the filter. It’s very quiet and the only thing you hear is the water splashing into the pond. It’s extremely easy to install, it’s literally just plug’n’play. I would recommend this filter to anyone with a pond.

Heavier than expected, but adequate for its workload, this pump has power in all the right places. The noise level is about the same as our pool pump, so no noisy lawnmower engine to listen to while enjoying our pond.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alpine 21" bio-pure pressure filter for a 2000 gallon pond works beautifully. My koi pond was getting very murky and I was having problems seeing the bottom. I could see the fish when they came close to the surface. This filter was easy to install and within 24 hours I could already see a difference in the water. It has already started clearing up. The filter is quiet and seems easy to clean. I would definitely recommend!

Time will tell how it filters water and how long it keeps water clean. Using as a filter for a bait tank so will put it to the test. Moves plenty of water for my uses.
