We love the lamp but there is a slight chip in the base. We requested a replacement part and received two conflicting emails —one that part was not available and another that it was going to be shipped, which is doubtful. So that’s a problem. Perhaps can at least send some lacquer filler.

I'd give it 4.5 because the dimmer apparatus is rather clunky (it's a wheel you turn with your thumb that has more range of motion than the light itself, so too much turning to get it to the "off" position) but the overall look of the lamp is impressive. I got two for our bedside tables. I really wanted something dimmable for bedtime reading and these direct the light nicely. Looks better than I even hoped they would. Would just like a slicker dimmer switch...

This Luna Bella lamp by Nova of California is stunning. It has elegant lines and proportions, and the gold leaf interior is gorgeous. It's well made, and appears to be sturdy. We have two on our nightstands and love them. My only disappointment with it is the dimming switch, which is clunky looking and feeling. It's a shame they chose such a cheap component for what is otherwise a really well constructed and showy lamp, but I won't dock a whole star for it.

I purchased two of these lamps to go on a long sofa table behind my living room couch. I loved the look of them online, but I worried they would look cheap in person… I was so pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous and unique these look in person! The lamps are solid and constructed well. They look classy, modern, and expensive, and they add such a cool ambiance in my living room. I would advise purchasing smaller light bulbs, as the Edison bulbs I bought protrude further than the lampshade than I’d prefer. That said, they still look lovely. I highly recommend these as accent lamps! They won’t disappoint?
