Very heavy but extremely well crafted with great solid materials

I am disgusted and frustrated with this purchase. I ordered the assembly when I ordered this product. It was $267 for the assembly. After receiving two extremely heavy boxes, I booked an appointment with Handy for a pro to come and assemble. That was canceled two hours before the scheduled time. This happened twice at the last minute. Each time I was told that they were having difficulty getting a pro to come out to my area. After the third time, they decided to cancel my booking entirely and refund the money for assembly. They decided that was the perfect solution. So I was left with boxes weighing almost 200 lb boxes on my floor. And by the way, you cannot call them on the phone. You can do an online chat with someone who sounds like a robot. I ordered from Wayfair because of the assembly they offered which certainly didn’t work for me. False advertising. No you do not get a local pro to assemble your product in your home. I am having the whole thing picked up at my house and returned to my house. Evelyn, at Wayfair customer service was the only silver lining in this fiasco. She immediately understood my frustration and put my mind at ease. She was professional and sympathetic, took care of the return, and was genuinely a sweet and caring human being, a rare find in the world of customer service.

I really really like this desk, but be prepared for about 2 to 3 hours to put it together. Assembly is not difficult at all, but there are so many parts to put together, and so many screws involved, that it simply takes time. But the end result is awesome. Great looking desk.

This desk was extremely easy to build with clear and precise instructions. The overall quality was superb with a pleasant wood smell. I couldn't recommend this desk more to someone looking for a well built office desk or workstation.
