The bench looks like a high school shop project. The bench/seat/top is poorly stained, cheap pine wood, and unfortunately not even "rustic" just cheap looking. There's a lot of wood grain/patterns in the top/seat while the legs/frame are solid black. I mean at least I can pretend I made myself and based on how it looks, people will believe me...

Not worth the price - flimsy and cheap

The bench is very sturdy. You will need to drill holes to put the screws in, though. We had to hire someone to assemble it for us. The only thing I really dont like is that the top is a COMPLETELY different color from the legs. The legs are solid black and the top is a sort of tan-grey-black with a ton of variation. Its solid wood which does mean there will be some variation, but it looks odd and out of place next to our black furniture.

Excellent Made in USA product! Great quality! Extremely easy to assemble. They even include the drill bit for the electric screwdriver. Won’t get that from anything made in China! Beautiful mahogany top adds a little decorative element to our mud room. Thank you! Very Happy!

Not what I expected. the top of the table had too many streaks of a lighter tone which it almost seemed like it was two toned

Great bench, but the color is a very dark brown and not a true black.

We bought this table to match a table we already have. It does the trick for sure. Bench is sturdy and it was pretty simple to put together. It came with the tool needed to assemble it.

Very nice bench overall. I don’t mind the complaint about the color of the top compared to the all dark black legs. My issue is with the 36”L x17” H. The 17”H is too low to put on shoes. Wouldn’t be difficult to be made 18” or 19”.

Solid wood bench. I would recommend this item.

Fits perfectly in our mudroom. Much more sturdy than we had anticipated. Well made!
