Terrible quality. The pattern is printed on and you see the seams on both sides where it meets.

I loved the pattern on this ceramic stool - that was what drew me to it. I was looking for an outdoor ceramic stool because I've always wanted one and when I saw this pattern, I thought it was unique and decided to go for it, spiff things up a bit, in lieu of a traditional Chinese garden stool. I was also going for a kind of black and white look and this navy and white ended up being a rich and engaging alternative - and I love flowers! It would have been like having flowers outside, only in paint. :) It arrived well-packaged in a timely manner. It didn't work for me because the top is wavy/bumpy, i.e. not flat/level. So I'm unable to put drinks down on it - which is the primary function I bought it for. I don't have a coffee table on the lanai, on purpose (takes up too much floor and visual space), so this was for me to put drinks on while sitting out there and leave my floor space intact. I put it outside and tried to make it work. Didn’t feel confident safely placing my glass tumbler on it. After weeks of leaving it out there, out of use, and thinking about it - I decided to move it inside to use as a side stool by the sofa. Still not useful as far as putting drinks down but I refuse to pay shipping to return it, so here it stays. Right now, it's just a large decorative item next to the sofa. Maybe I’ll stack magazines on it. It is smaller than expected - but then again, as soon as I opened it, I realized I never looked at the dimensions online. I ended up buying two, full-sized, traditional Chinese garden stools and they look spectacular on the lanai and have met my requirements. So, in summary, the painting and craftsmanship on the body/barrel of this stool is gorgeous; you can see it in the photos. It is without a doubt a GORGEOUS piece - appreciate the art there. The wavy top was the disappointing bit, in terms of functionality.
