Glacier Country Collection Blanket Chest

This blanket chest with natural color was the exact size for my bedroom. I’m very happy with the quality of the wood and the craftsmanship. The reason that I have to deduct one star is because of the problems with the shipment of my order. It was lost in transit for almost a month, and despite calling the customer service multiple times, nobody was able to give me a correct answer. Eventually I sent an email and immediately, an investigation agent answered and in less than a week, the trunk was delivered with pristine condition.

Perfectly built. Already assembled. No smell. Smooth wood. Stunning. Will buy another one immediately when they reduce the price again — right now it’s too pricey. I’m attaching 2 pictures. The trunk is lighter than the full view shown, so I took a close-up of the wood to show you what the true color is.

As another reviewer mentioned, the color is nothing like the photos. Not only are the photos currently linked incorrectly (lacquered is linked on 09/09 as the lightest color - it looks almost off-white, but I was reassured by wayfair + Loon Peak that "Ready to finish" is the lightest color, as in the Abella trunk photos) The "ready to finish" color looks almost off-white, in both the Abella and Tustin photos, but the chest itself in "ready to finish" is more of a yellow color. It's a beautiful chest, very sturdily made, but we had to find a different spot in the house for it because it didn't match our bedroom set. Some color discrepancy is to be expected but this is way off.

Very good quality, a lifetime piece of furniture!

This is perfect with one glaring exception: the color/tone of the wood in all photos lacquered or unfinished is an off-white. It arrived yesterday and I cried when I took off the wrapping. Ot is Pine or Ash yellow!! YELLOW - and everything in my bedroom is white! All else said in other reviews is true. It is beautifully made but it's Y E L L O W!!! (not slightly off-white)

It matched our room perfectly and provided more than enough storage space for our bedding we love it.

Very sturdy trunk and beautiful wood grain. Took one star off due to the strong and long-lasting chemical odour.

This is really well made. It is durable, large, and spacious. It comes unfinished.
