Raines Martha Stewart Emmett 3 Shelf Storage Display Unit Bookcase with Metal Frame

Generally nice bookcase. It’s not solid wood but laminate over particleboard in most parts. There are a lot of areas where the laminate seams worn at the seams, but thankfully most of those areas are in the back or on the bottom, and there are no obvious rips or scratches of the laminate. There were two flaws on the metal bars where the screw hole was closed (pictured attached) so I couldn’t screw in the bookcase. Again luckily this was the bottom shelf and two screws on the same side so I’m not worried about overall stability of the shelf. It still felt solid and strong without them. Overall, I like the design but I don’t think it’s worth the price. (Forgive the final photo, I did have to relocate my record player as it was too big for the shelf and this was the photo I took after putting it together).

Excellent quality, very easy to put together but heavy and durable. Very sleek and looks lovely in my office!

East assembly and looks nice. There was a huge safety sticker on it that they want you to keep for liability - if you remove it there’s a huge square of residue. The black shelves collect dust of course but they also stain some how? I had books sitting on it that stained the shelf, a coaster left marks etc. overall it’s great for decor and easy to assemble but not the highest quality material so I wouldn’t buy it again.

Other than 2 of the support beam bolt holes not being drilled out fully and some slightly confusing instructions, this was the perfect item for what I needed it (storage and look underneath a mounted TV that needed an open bottom for airflow). Will buy again when ready to reno the other half of this room.

Love! This took a while to assemble and it is heavy, but sturdy. Looks just like the pictures.

Love this shelf. It works great in my office and was just wide enough to put a microwave on top.

The unit is very sturdyheavy duty. Looks nice put together. Directions were a little difficult to decipher to get started, but once started, easy to follow and finish. I did have one part of the metal accent that didn’t have a hole drilled where it should have been in order to put a screw in but thankfully it was only one screw and didn’t effect the stability of the end product. This also has parts on the back of the unit where cam lock holes need to be covered with stickers which I always find to be cheap-looking but it is on the back of the unit and for where I’m using this it won’t matter.

I love my new shelf. It’s nice and sturdy and it was easy to assemble.
