Best Trellises With Reviews

This is a very nice design for a large trellis. We used 36" 4x4's cemented into post holes to secure the trellis. It will hold our new wisteria vining tree. Price was good, assembly was tricky even with 2 people, moving it into position and leveling it was not easy because of the substantial size and weight of this. The only snag for us was that one of the decorative end pieces was damaged upon arrival. Had to decide if we wanted to replace that piece, which might involve returning the whole unit, or best case scenario waiting for a replacement piece. In the end we decided to glue the damaged piece and attach the glued end toward the inside of the two top facing crossbars, instead of waiting since these trellises have been out of stock for a while now, and are out of stock again. We also had to use a dremmel sanding bit to shave down one of the top end caps on the main posts because it was far too big to be forced onto the post. It needed to be made smaller on all 4 sides and corners shaved down too in order to fit, and we still had to force it a bit with a rubber mallet to fit down into the top post. Love the design, love the sturdy weight, but parts are not precision made and better boxing to protect all those PVC parts would have been a huge improvement. Looks great installed in the garden ground and extending up to the floorboard fascia of our 2nd story deck. It shields the view of our whole house generator which is under that side of the deck. Overall pleased, but this is the 2nd large item from Wayfair that we have received damaged, so minus a star for that.

This is an excellent trellis. Really great quality piece and very pretty. It’s large and has good weight to it so you will want to ensure it’s well anchored. It was a little tricky for 2 of us to put together but once it was done I was really pleased with it. It looks like it will last for years.

Could not ask for better quality. This is our second order of this trellis. We have 3 of this particular trellis design mounted on the brick of our house; we just bought 2 more Luxembourg trellis to mount on an expansive outside wall of our new-built garage. I know the new ones will look wonderful.

The trellis arrived as expected and packaged well. The directions to put it together were not very detailed, but if you do the steps it in order, it isn’t too difficult to figure out. A two person job to hold it together while assembling. To install, I could only go down about 10 inches to dig the holes due to large rocks in the way, so I backfilled with some pebble gravel and it is very secure. It looks much more expensive than it is! After adding plantings it looks like it has always been there!

I ordered this trellis for a bed in front of my house, and I like it a lot. The assembly is super easy and only takes about 4 minutes. She is sturdy, but the wings could be made of thicker steel (they feel flimsy). I like her as she is, but will likely give her a coat of rustoleum in a funky color at some point. I have read other reviews that mention rust, and time will tell. The only other thing that would have made this trellis better is if she were a little bigger. I posted a photo of her next to my dining room table for comparison. The photos on Wayfair make her look enormous, although the specs they list are on point. Overall, Im very pleased with this purchase, and will put her outside as soon as I can secure her.

This product is fantastic!! We used this along with the 120" x 40" Artificial Planes Dark Green Hedge Fence Covering to build 2 beautiful 16 ft wide hedges. one of which is used to hide the neighbor's trampoline and the other is used as a backdrop outside our dining room window. We mounted the Trellis on the fence with 2 x 4 treated wood at about 1 ft above the ground, cut off the tops of the trellis, and draped the hedge over the top using 1 roll of hedge per Trellis. We used a power stapler to attach the hedge to the Trellis. This gives us an 8 ft high edge and allows for 2 ft of hedge to be dropped on the opposite side so the neighbors simply see 2 ft of hedge above their fence line. We couldn't be happier with the product!

Love this trellis. As part of a landscaping overhaul, it looks very nice on the front of my house. Arrived promptly and intact was fairly easy to put together. Instructions say you need a power drill (what you actually need is a screw driver or power driver to drive in the screws), a rubber mallet (I have one, but never figured out where they thought it should be used), and PVC cement or super glue or crazy glue. This last is to cement the caps on top of the posts. I bought some for the project and may never use it again, but it was the correct “tool” for the job. That said, crazy or super glue would probably have been fine. It is a lovely and substantial piece that will nicely dress up a bare wall, and will provide an attractive support for my new clematis plants.

Excellent base support system & even easier to use & assemble (The "feet" actually were the exact size I needed for the space I had. Once I had it ready to place & secure on its' feet I wanted to enhance the posts just in case & used 4 ft rebar stakes and then I slid the fence post down on the rebar until i could secure the feet and level. Going further I poured 8-12 inches of pea gravel inside the posts & poured a thinner, more fluid concrete mixture maybe 4 inches above the pea gravel thus reinforcing and giving weight. (use a layer of plastic ground level to catch leakage if u fill the inside for quick quick cleanup after curing). I live where 95 mph winds are expected annually and w the way my neighbors drive over my fencing I wanted to help it have a chance. I'm sure u doint need to reinforce by most standards but I share if u do fence your yard w these products the corners will be more stable as well as posts. Better safe than sorry right?

This is very nice trellis. I ordered four last summer to make a screen to hide something in an adjoining yard. When I finished the project, it looked like a professional job because I followed all directions, and was very careful with leveling and alignment. It does take some time to assemble the trellis and to attach the metal anchors, but the results are very satisfactory. I anchored mine in gravel rock in holes that were 17 inches deep. I also wedged the trellis legs very tightly. They were all super solid when I finished and never budged during the cold icy winter. JBS

I love this trellis.  It goes perfectly in my yard. I liked it so much I bought an additional one. I wish there was one exactly like it just not as tall for another area for my climbing vines. It was a little tricky to put together, but now that I know how to do it and I have a power drill I can put the other one together quickly. It’s a solid trellis and hasn’t blown over at all. I’m very happy with this purchase. 

Pretty. Easy to assemble. You Will need to probably dig the hole to put it in place and need to use some concrete for stability. That was my experience. Otherwise I don’t think it would truly be able to support the bougainvillea that it’s being used for. Looks nice. All n all a decent product. Just didn’t realize I’d have to set it in concrete. It does say you don’t Have to use it. But in my case it was needed

I paired these trellises with the Azaiah 39.57" W Brown Metal Elevated Planter Rectangular Raised Garden Planters as the widths work perfectly together and allow for vines and plant stems to be secured to it. These are moderately sturdy, but both of them had manufacturing issues. They come in 3 pieces, and there were screw to hole misalignment and missing screw holes. The missing holes were easy to DIY fix with tools, but the pieces with slight misalignments were not. We had to rely on gravity to hold those together. Overall, I am happy with the look and size of these vs. others available for purchase, but am disappointed with the quality -- especially at the price point they are sold at.

I Love it! Perfect for the location where it's installed. It's great quality, heavy duty and looks really good. It was easy to put together. I'm not sure how someone would use it with only the base support included. The weight of it would be unstable. We placed it a few inches from the back wall of our house. My husband (builder) made two white PVC brackets to screw to both the trellis and the wall to stabilize it. This worked perfectly! Looks great! Now, I just need my vines to grow! I can't wait to see it in a few months with vines of flowers!

The way this trellis was packaged was like nothing I had ever seen before. Four boxes were stacked on top of each other to create a box tower that was then loosely taped at each seam where the boxes met. The tower was taped closed on the top and bottom with the legs of the trellis poking thru 4 holes in the bottom of the tower. There was no packing materials of any kind inside. The boxes themselves showed a considerable amount of damage, luckily the trellis was iron.

This is a beautiful addition to my garden. Not happy about it coming apart from the top during winter. Water builds up in the tube's and pushes it off. Constantly needs draining and pushed back together. We had to place drilled holes, which you need to do yourself to help it not do it as often.

This is a very beautiful structure. I’m enjoying in my front yard. Thank you so much. Planted oh you’re totally fine no worries date of birth so what she did was she called in half strength because she felt that you know after what you had shared with me and I shared with her that that would be the only option other than getting over-the-counter med so she thought possibly is because of the strength and possibly cause it’s a generic of our cell wasn’t really 100 sure that it was any of the metal in there so she did send that to the pharmacy so go ahead and activate that she is happy to prescribe the over-the-counter medication for you and any any location so if you determine this doesn’t work for you and you try it and you have the same issue then obviously washing off and we can certainly you know. Go back to the Xerac and see if that works for you. I did look it up on good RX. The best price I saw was 1308 at Walgreens so if you use good RX is very helpful and I’ll tell you where the lowest price is so if it gets to that you already have that medication sent to the pharmacy I don’t know what happens once they don’t feel something because I don’t carry it but potentially you could have that pulled to an outside pharmacy to go to Walgreens and say I have this medication it was sent I didn’t. I didn’t use it. Could you see if you could pull it so that’s all option as well yes yes yeah and then definitely you know if you have the same problem just cleaned it off really well cold to the area you can use topical Cortizone cream anything to that itching in that burning sensation cool compresses anything that is a good thing to have around. I don’t know if it’s the aluminum it could be the alcohol. It could be anything, but they definitely could be sensitive and obviously don’t be another Yeah you know that. OK you’re welcome. As others have said , this looks like a quality garden piece. It was very well packaged and protected, and easy to put together, just open it up and slide the rings on it and anchor them on the "leaf" prongs. There is a metal brace that forms an X at the bottom about maybe 10 inches up. The color is pleasing, sort of a coppery black color that looks well with our stucco house . It is just what I wanted for a climbing vine for a new garden area I am planning. It's currently standing without a plant in a large planter pot on my patio and already looks good !

After searching stores and online for weeks, I finally found this trellis and decided to order one to check it out in person. Wow, its perfect for my needs. It can be made to be tall and narrow or short and long or anywhere in between with ease. It is very well engineered and looks like it could last forever. I will be ordering 3 more to attach to a brick wall for grape plants to grow on. The price is very reasonable for the quality you get.

Far more sturdy than I expected! What you don't see in the description photo is the cross-bar at the base. So it isn't just 2 legs in the ground, but 4! This is particularly important to me because I'm hanging bird feeders from the hooks rather than plants -- and if not anchored adequately everything swings and sways as the birds fly away. That can be a problem. It comes in 4 pieces and is very easy to assemble! The photo shows the trellis in green, and I must admit that I didn't pay attention to that aspect (if it said otherwise). My trellis is black, which is just fine with me. I'm happy, and so are my visiting birds!! If you are looking to hang plants or bird feeders -- GO FOR IT! You won't be disappointed.
