With a capacity of 4 gallons and optional drainage holes, it's suitable for growing fruits, vegetables, and herbs. I love my 2 white Grecian Urn Plastic Pedestal planters. I have them outside near my Deck steps entrance. I tied them both to the railings to avoid them from tipping over from the wind. They become top heavy once dirt and flowers are placed in the pots, which are large. It would be a great feature if the pedestals were made of a heavier plastic to avoid tipping over.. Beverly. US. Wed Aug 05 2026

Able to be used indoors and out, this product can be a handsome touch. Consider using it as a planter near your entryway for a regal palm or tall agave. Alternatively, this well-made urn could be used in an office or by the fireplace to add a stately air.

I love these fiber clay urn planters and own several of them to plant my flowers and to elevate mums and luminaries in the fall. The planter has a beautiful exterior design. The base bottom does not have drainage holes which would be fine for indoor or covered patio use. However, I VERY carefully drilled several holes in the base to allow water to drain out since I use them outdoors (3 season use). These have a nice weight but can break so handle with care to get many years use from them.. Joan. Elmira, NY. Fri Apr 24 2026

Hate this! Looks like a heavy duty rubber garbage can vs a beautiful planter... Returned it.. Karin. Short Hills, NJ. Thu Jul 06 2023

It's a good planter but a bit of a plastic feel/look up close. I wanted a planter with a bit more stone feel/look but the price on this particular one is pretty good. Despite the plastic feel/look, it's not a deal breaker for me because it's about 100' from the flower bed to front sidewalk...and it looks rather elegant. I don't foresee anyone walking up to my flower bed and inspecting the planters (hopefully not). I had to drill holes for drainage. Anyhow, this is a heavy duty "compsite" planter and I recommend it.. Lemuel. Yorktown, VA. Mon Apr 13 2020
