I LOVE this patio dining set. I put it together in very minimal time, and the chairs came fully assembled. The table had a standard hole for an umbrella. It also does well in the rain. We wipe it off with a towel after rain and it’s just fine. The oiled wood is beautiful. We purchased pads for the chairs elsewhere, but we bought the rectangular umbrella separately through Wayfair.. Just finished unboxing and assembling this dining set! It’s easy to assemble with one person, but a second person should be available to help flip the table upright. This set came in 4 boxes - 3 boxes had 2 chairs in each, and one larger box for the table. They were packaged nicely and were secure in the box - there was no damage to the items when shipped. Assembly took about 2.5 hours, by myself, for all six chairs and the table. There was a slight alignment issues with two chairs chairs, but otherwise there were no problems assembling. The chairs are sturdy and comfortable. Very pleased with this purchase.. Jessica. Pasadena, MD. Sat Sep 16 2023

Really great set !!! Looks perfect!. Cara. CA. Sun Dec 06 2020

This dining set is an attractive choice for any outdoor setting. The set can be finished with a quality penetrating the exterior finish, or left alone to weather to a silvery gray color. Many or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty. Made of northern white cedar and pine, this dining set will give years of service and enjoyment.
