Exactly as expected. Strong, high quality mailbox that arrived quickly. Installation: Easy to attach to a mounting plate using the holes on the bottom of the exterior sides. It’s petty heavy, so be sure to attach to a strong post - I got the Gibraltar Landover post (which is actually hollow) and slid it over a 4x4 sunk 17” into the ground which is 30” above ground (so the 4x4 is a total of 47”). It looks great and was definitely worth the money to upgrade from the low-quality, dented mailbox that the prior owners had chosen. I got custom decals elsewhere to finish the look.. Marion. Pretty nice. Not as heavy as I imagined. No installation instructions are included but they are on the website. Just an extra step you shouldn’t have to take. Also, if an Allen wrench was included I might have figured out how the head and base secure to the pole. I was in the hunt for screws. Another step you shouldn’t have to take.
