This took about an hour and a half to put together, and the instructions were decent. However, I would not put the wheels on last, because then you're having to lean over when it's tall and bulky.
My only negative is the color rubs off pretty easily so it's not a stain, and you'd do well to add clear stain to make it last longer. Had I know it's cheap spray on that rubs off pretty easily, I would have clear stained it first.. or perhaps not bought it.
Overall, the quality is good and it looks nice. I wish all 4 wheels locked, but only two do and it's so tight I can't get them to lock. I especially like that the shelf slides outward. This is great for medium and small plants, but not large and heavy plants. The moving shelf is pretty thin, so be cautious of the weight on the shelf when pushed out. The base is pretty sturdy.
I did have to take apart a couple of pieces and reverse them to make the top shelf fit properly, and two screws for that shelf went under the shelf, so I made my own holes to make it fit, though that top shelf is really for small tools and very small pots for seedlings. All in all, I like it.
the plastic bin needs a hole to drain water, but it does easily lift out.. Llm. Farmers Branch, TX. Sun Jun 22 2025
