Large Cantilever umbrella provides all the sun coverage you'll need. It's enormous and heavy! It took my husband, son, and a friend to get it hosted up. This is a nice umbrella, accurate to the description and pictures. I was not aware that you have to buy the base separately so that’s the only down side. The pole seems sturdy and made well. The beige color is really nice in person. I’m happy with it!. Anonymous. Wheaton, IL. Fri May 30 2025

Great umbrella! Had a problem and the manufacturer fixed it immediately. Now, it is fantastic and I am very pleased. Looks great, easy to operate and only assembly was attaching it to the base and removing packaging. Very nice.. Joann. Boston, MA. Sat Jun 20 2026

This 9 ft square cantilever umbrella brings a perfect blend of style and function to your outdoor space. Its smooth hydraulic opening, customizable tilt, and 360° rotation let you enjoy cool shade all day long. Whether for sunny afternoons or lively garden gatherings, it’s built to provide reliable comfort and sleek, modern elegance.

This 9 ft aluminum cantilever patio umbrella is very nice quality and looks great. It arrived fully assembled with the canopy already on, which was a big plus and saved a lot of time. One thing to note is that the base is not included, which I didn’t realize at first, so we’ll need to purchase one separately. The crank is located in the front under the canopy, so you do have to step under the umbrella to raise and lower it. That said, it operates smoothly, and the tilt feature is very easy to use. Overall, it feels sturdy and well made, and once all the snow melts, it’s going to be perfect for our patio. I’m really looking forward to using it this season.. Stacey. Laytonsville, MD. Keep your patio umbrella steady and secure, no matter the breeze. Fill it with water, sand, or both to suit your needs, then move it easily with built-in wheels. Durable, weather-resistant, and ready for any backyard, patio, or poolside setup.

This umbrella turned out to be bigger than I anticipated. It was super easy to build, instructions were very clear. I did need help to attach the umbrella to the bottom stand but overall, it took about 40 minutes to put together. I had to hold it down with some weights due to my yard not being level but the umbrella is heavy duty.. Frances. Bartow, FL. Mon Jul 13 2026

We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. If you're looking for a large poolside umbrella that provides excellent shade and feels well built, this has been a great addition to our backyard.. Cindy. Florida. Tue Jun 23 2026

Elevate your outdoor space with our 13.1ft Roman Umbrella. Crafted with premium aluminum and featuring a dual-top design, it offers spacious shade and durability. Enjoy enhanced wind resistance, UV protection, and effortless functionality. Ideal for creating a stylish and comfortable retreat.

Oh my! This umbrella is HUGE. I misread the description and thought that there would be a base with it but you have to either buy a weighted based or a mount that goes into the ground. I finally located the base that this umbrella is compatible with (you fill it with water) but I’m inclined to think it may not be enough counterbalance when the umbrella is in its full extended version. Once the base arrives, I will figure out if I need the one that goes into the ground. Anyhow, beautifully made umbrella. Can wait for my first summer cookout!. Marie. Fall City, WA. Wed Apr 10 2024

Enjoy superior sun protection with this double-sided cantilever umbrella, designed for both style and function. The 360° rotation and adjustable tilt provide personalized shading in any direction, while the sturdy 8-rib frame and windproof design enhance stability and durability. Perfect for your outdoor space, this umbrella will keep you cool and comfortable all year long.

A very nice umbrella! We really like the navy color and the frame is sturdy. Make sure to purchase the correct base. The raising and lowering works smoothly. If you need to pivot the umbrella, you just move the handle into the pivoting gears and that also works so smoothly. I do want to give a shut out to both Wayfair and the business because the first one arrived in a mangled box, and the ribs of the umbrella were bent badly. Wayfair forwarded the complaint to the company and the company made contact within 12 hours and I already had a shipment being processed for the new one.. Andrea. NV. Wed Sep 16 2026

This umbrella is absolutely beautiful and looks very well made. The fabric color is gorgeous, and the overall design is modern and high-end. We haven’t been able to fully set it up yet because the compatible base had to be ordered separately. It would be a 5-star purchase if a matching base was included or easier to find, as the provided SKU numbers didn’t match Wayfair’s listings. Overall, very impressed!. Jennifer. US. Tue Jun 30 2026

This 12FT cantilever umbrella is exactly what I was looking for to provide shade over our patio seating area. It’s very sturdy and well-made, and the fabric feels thick and durable. The size offers excellent coverage, and the overall design looks sleek and modern in the backyard. One important thing to note: the umbrella base is not included, and it requires a specific type of base to stay properly balanced. Standard umbrella bases won’t work, so be prepared to either purchase the matching base separately or find one that fits securely. Jorge. Port St. Lucie, FL. Tue May 20 2025

UPDATED: The manufacturer of the umbrella called me to discuss the review-which as noted was really about Wayfair and their CS-not the quality of the umbrella-which is great btw. Changing to 5 stars because the actual umbrella is fantastic and they shouldn't be penalized for Wayfair's poor customer service. It was nice to speak with them and suggest how to be clearer with their marketing so folks don't buy the wrong base. The one star is for Wayfair customer service (now changed to 5) and not the product. Please note the description (counter weight base needed) and so I bought one. Got it ready with sand and water. Went to assemble the umbrella and there are no cross braces included. Description lacking is an understatement. So now I have an umbrella with a counter weight base I can’t return and no way to use with this umbrella because this company doesn’t send standard what every other company considers standard to buyer beware only order a counter weight base you can attach the umbrella directly to because no one sells the cross bars typically used with these umbrellas. Interesting to me is under suggested products Wayfair doesn't even link what’s needed. Frustrating.. Sharon. Antioch, TN. Tue Aug 13 2024

Highly recommend this umbrella! Just a few things extremely heavy and instead of a base we attached it to the cement because of it being so heavy, the fabric is thick and it also has a solar panel with remote to open and close umbrella.. Dana. Lexington, SC. Fri May 31 2024

The Johanna Cantilever Umbrella is impressive! A very stable and sturdy umbrella. I love the crank handle and the easy lift to tilt mechanism. Arrived quickly and package well with easy straightforward assembly instructions. I love that it bolts directly to the umbrella base. Take Note that the base that Wayfair recommends is NOT compatible with this unit. The 260# base with wheels by Latitude Run is the compatible base. I will include a photo for reference.. Dana. Excellent product. Easy to assemble Does what it is supposed to do. Only minor negative comment being that when moving around (it's heavy so you need to slide it for short distances) the plastic end caps on the base slide off and need to be refitted.. Richard. Evesham, GB. Mon Jul 08 2019

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Wayfair sent me a damaged and defective umbrella with the hook inside the pole supporting the umbrella holder is broken. I have requested to return the product and have a refund so I can buy something else but Wayfair is trying to force the damaged product on me and keep asking me to send a picture of the damage which I already did and the agent is still asking me for additional proof of damage. I am still within the 30days of the return policy but they are trying to force a damaged product on me and threatening that I have to pay for the shipping back to them. What nonsense??? Do not waste your money and time buying this product as the quality is very poor and not sturdy at all that little wind can blow it away. This was not a final sale item and wayfair should improve on their poor customer service and keep to their return policy. Still waiting for my money back!. Anonymous. Fri Aug 30 2024
