Covers a lot of area, but feels a little flimsy, especially around the crank.. Diane. College Station, TX. Tue Sep 15 2026

Transform your outdoor space with our 15FT x 9FT double-sided patio umbrella. Designed to create 135 sq. ft. of cool, comfortable shade, it easily covers your dining set or lounge area—perfect for BBQs, poolside relaxation, family gatherings, and commercial spaces. The vented canopy improves airflow and stability, while the heavy-duty base and sandbags provide reliable wind resistance up to 40+ mph. Built with premium UPF 30+ polyester, it blocks harmful UV rays, is waterproof, fade-resistant for up to 3 years, and built to last. Effortless one-hand crank operation, a sturdy steel pole, reinforced ribs, and safety pin make this umbrella both convenient and durable. Ideal for patios, decks, pools, and gardens, it combines style and strength to enhance every outdoor moment.

I got this 15 ft patio umbrella from Wayfair because I needed serious shade for my backyard, and honestly, it does exactly what I needed it to do. The size is impressive. It covers a large area really well, especially over a patio table, chairs, and part of the surrounding yard. In Florida sun, that matters. This is not a tiny decorative umbrella pretending to help. It actually creates a usable shaded space. The umbrella itself looks really nice once it is up. The neutral color works well with my yard and patio setup, and it has a clean, simple look without feeling cheap or flimsy. I also like the double-sided design because it gives much better coverage than a standard round patio umbrella. The crank handle makes opening and closing it pretty straightforward once everything is assembled and standing. That said, this thing is heavy. Very heavy. That is good in the sense that it feels sturdy, but you should absolutely expect some effort when setting it up. I was able to get it together, but getting it upright was not exactly a delicate one-person activity. I would strongly recommend having two people, especially when lifting the umbrella into place and getting it stabilized. This is not something you casually pop up while holding an iced coffee in the other hand unless you are secretly training for a patio furniture strongman competition. The base is also important. Because the umbrella is so wide, you really need to make sure it is properly weighted and positioned, especially if you live somewhere windy or stormy. I would not leave it open during bad weather. Overall, I am happy with this umbrella. It gives a ton of shade, looks good in the yard, and feels sturdy once it is set up. Just know ahead of time that it is large, heavy, and much easier to manage with two people. For the amount of coverage it provides, though, I think it is worth it.. Shauna. Tampa, FL. So impressed by how much this massive umbrella shades! But be warned because it's massive you will need a 150lb plus base. Which is NOT included! It took me 4 stops and 2 purchases to find the right one that not only holds up the weight but will stand up to any sudden gusts or just gravity. Once I found it I was so happy! It shades the whole pool at certain times of the day which is needed in the Maryland hot sun!. Megan The Deal Codes Freebies Addicts Mama. USA. Wed Aug 05 2026

We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it. If you're looking for a large poolside umbrella that provides excellent shade and feels well built, this has been a great addition to our backyard.. Cindy. Florida. Tue Jun 23 2026

I love the size and material of this umbrella. The tightly woven material offered a nice drape and sun screening of the table. The size was perfect for the table and especially liked the oblong rectangle shape of the canopy to match the layout of my table. Especially liked the beefy construction and all aluminum material of the ribs and pole. They will last a lifetime. Outstanding quality and design of the umbrella support shown in picture. One word of caution is to check the diameter of you table hole. The pole had a diameter of 48mm but the hole on my table was 43mm.
