First off, id give this 5 stars if it was just the pergola itself. I absolutely love it. Its been great in the rain and the quality is awesome. Everything came individually wrapped. However, I have to give this 4 instead of 5 stars only because the drapes and screens. In the picture on the website it shows that you cant see the grommets and you can in real life. Also they are not the color I thought theyd be. I thought they were coming in black. The screens are white and makes it hard to see through. The specs say they are black but they come delivered in grey and white. Super bummed because it changes the whole look I was going for and cant find replacements. The first half of setup you could do alone but will need a second set upnhands to get the posts and frame together. Its like adult legos. Mine did arrive with some dents in the posts but customer service took care of that so overall Im happy with the product, just not the drapesscreens and I cant find replacements in black. This was surprisingly easy to construct (if you REALLY pay attention to ALL of the pictures and do it exactly the right way the 1st time; which we did not and had to take apart 3 different sections due to installing a piece/pieces in the wrong direction). The destructions (oops spelled that wrong, I meant instructions) are pictures only so be prepared for that. I recommend buying and using a rubber washer on the #3 roof screws. We did not and then had to figure out how to get back up there and put roofing tape over the screws to stop the little leaks. We also used the same roofing tape to go along the edge where this goes up against my house to keep the rain from running down between. It took me and my husband about 10 hrs to build this over 2 days. Full disclosure, we have both done some construction in our younger days, but we are both not as good as we once were. We bought 2 of these 10x12s and will be building the 2nd one next weekend. I suspect this one will go much more smoothly given the experience of building the 1st one.. Anonymous. Sat Jun 13 2026

Kit includes all hardware/fasteners for the eyebrow pergola construction except for fasteners going into your actual structure (structural fasteners). Structural fasteners vary based on your structure's material. If you are unsure of the structural elements behind the attachment point, it is recommended you purchase and fasten in a 2x10 treated wood ledger board and then use our provided decorative ledger board over top.

We're already planning to spend every possible minute out here as the weather warms up. Assembly was surprisingly straightforward, thanks to instructions that were easy to follow. While the process is manageable, it is a project; it took a full weekend to complete. My husband handled most of the assembly, though he definitely needed an extra set of hands to safely erect the support pillars and main frame. Make sure your electric drill is fully charged and ready to go, as there are quite a few screws involved in securing the slats. Once it's up, though, the payoff is immediate. This pergola offers a perfect reprieve from the sun throughout the day, featuring a smooth louvered system that is incredibly easy to operate. Each side opens and closes with one fluid motion, giving us precise control over exactly how much sunlight we let in. The wood grain coating on the aluminum frame adds an elegant and timeless touch.
