I would give this table 5 stars for sturdiness and looks. But it did come damaged as several others have said. I will say it is a heavy table. Not sure if damaged in transit because of this. Or because my FedEx lady decided to let it fall off back of truck when unloading. I currently have a call into Wayfair for a resolve. Overall it’s a very pretty table. I love that it extends. Because the porch we have it on is just a eating section that needs a smaller table most of the time. It will need to be on a covered porch to keep it nice. This table is extraordinary. It is so well put together and the furniture pieces are very strong and sturdy. The instructions are easy to follow unlike a lot of product instructions nowadays. It is recommended to apply outdoor wood wax oil, varnish or preservative wood oil every 3–6 months. This sentence is located at the very bottom of several feature paragraphs. The reason I looked back at my order is because there are white cloudy spots all over my table and chairs and I am going to have to try and remove them. Apparently you remove them with an iron and towel and try to get the moisture out of those white areas by drying them out with the iron. For the company, oiling the table shouldn't be the last thing mentioned. I would think close to the top of the features section would be a good spot.
