We just got two of these set up and they seem nice, but have barely used them yet. My main issue was the inability of Wayfair to send anyone who could put them together. They are too large for one person and, while I had paid for assembly, neither the delivery guys or the assembly team (which turned out to be the same delivery guys) could assemble it. I finally just paid the delivery guys separately to help me try to figure it out and we got them assembled.. Brian. Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Tue Dec 17 2024

For the price I think this is a great buy. The solar lights do not really show up at night. The base does not look as nice as the actual umbrella so I used one I already had. For some reason, it sways just above the crank. Overall, it’s still a good buy for the money.. Nguyen-thi. San Diego. Wed Sep 16 2026

I got this 15 ft patio umbrella from Wayfair because I needed serious shade for my backyard, and honestly, it does exactly what I needed it to do. The size is impressive. It covers a large area really well, especially over a patio table, chairs, and part of the surrounding yard. In Florida sun, that matters. This is not a tiny decorative umbrella pretending to help. It actually creates a usable shaded space. The umbrella itself looks really nice once it is up. The neutral color works well with my yard and patio setup, and it has a clean, simple look without feeling cheap or flimsy. I also like the double-sided design because it gives much better coverage than a standard round patio umbrella. The crank handle makes opening and closing it pretty straightforward once everything is assembled and standing. That said, this thing is heavy. Very heavy. That is good in the sense that it feels sturdy, but you should absolutely expect some effort when setting it up. I was able to get it together, but getting it upright was not exactly a delicate one-person activity. I would strongly recommend having two people, especially when lifting the umbrella into place and getting it stabilized. This is not something you casually pop up while holding an iced coffee in the other hand unless you are secretly training for a patio furniture strongman competition. The base is also important. Because the umbrella is so wide, you really need to make sure it is properly weighted and positioned, especially if you live somewhere windy or stormy. I would not leave it open during bad weather. Overall, I am happy with this umbrella. It gives a ton of shade, looks good in the yard, and feels sturdy once it is set up. Just know ahead of time that it is large, heavy, and much easier to manage with two people. For the amount of coverage it provides, though, I think it is worth it.. Shauna. Tampa, FL. Huge, and very stable for being so large. Several options to rotate. Only thing is, everything you do with the umbrella is done by one crank. With the umbrella being so big, its very heavy and that cranking motion does a job on your shoulders and arms. But its beautiful, sturdy and easy to operate. The light inside easy to operate also. I had it professionally assembled. Make sure you have a very heavy duty base for it too. It is water resistant and has been good through a couple of pretty strong windstorm weve had....just make sure to close it at the 1st sign of a wind or thunder storm. So far, I highly recommend.. Things happen. I get it. I bought this umbrella for a party and it arrived but the lights did not work. I was a little annoyed and reached out to Wayfair who then put me in contact with the vendor. They are in another country I think because the responses usually took a day if I sent the message in the morning. Anyway, I explained the issue was having., sent photos, and answered their questions. They determined, I have no idea how since there are many things that could have caused this I think, that it was the solar panel. Because TARIFFS, I am certain, it was taking a while to get the part. The vendor, sent another one via FEDEX from wherever in the world they are and it arrived in two days and worked like a charm. As a business owner, I fully understand that things happen. The key is how you handle it. Maple, who I was working with, was great. She always replied and we got this resolved. The umbrella is a statement piece for the patio and I look forward to enjoying it for a long time. Many thanks to Wayfair and Maple. This is why I shop Wayfair. You haven't let me down yet!!!.
