Hand-woven using techniques handed down from generation to generation, the Capucine Bar Stool features easily maintained seating of synthetic twisted wicker in a soothing birch color paired with sleek and stylish teak legs. Includes a seat cushion in Dune that is optional for sitting.

I'm not sure about this chair, it looks great but it is really deep for a barstool. Residentially it's great, it's almost like a lounge chair because of the depth and I could sit in it for a long time. I don't like that it swivels. This is going in a bar for an outdoor restaurant sitting on a beach at a hotel. It's a bit too deep and the spinning is not so good in a commercial setting because people tend to get hurt. The chair is very sturdy and well made. I think it will be okay, we are having a lumbar pillow made so it doesn't sit quite so deep and a new cushion for the seat as the cushion on it isn't very soft. To sum it up: This chair would be great in a residential environment but needs some modifications in a hospitality environment.. Karolyn. Crestview Hills, KY. Wed Nov 19 2025

Beautiful chairs but an assembly nightmare. Wooden pegs that hold chairs together were all miss matched. Too large or too small. One chair was and is missing back support wood. This product included adjustable height foot leveler pads that allow independent adjustment of each leg to make minor adjustments for slight slopes in the floor. The rubber foot pads also provide a non-slip stability for wet surfaces. In addition, the foot leveling pads raise the teak legs off the floor so that the wood does not stay in contact with water or damp floor surfaces when not in use. This will help prolong the life of the teak. Teak is naturally water, mold, and mildew resistant due to its natural density and high oil content. This natural resistance has been supplemented by using proprietary EcoDecors™ sealer which is a deep penetrating stain with added mold, mildew and fungus inhibitors. It provides the ability for this teak furniture to be used outdoors as well as indoors.

We bought three of these chairs along with the 35" square table. Like the table, these were also solidly built and attractive. I deducted one star because the hardware that came with it didn't always fit. A few of the bolts were too long so didn't sit flush with the wood when screwed in all the way. Also, one bolt was missing so we had to buy it locally to complete the installation. All three bottles of glue that came with the chairs were hard as a rock, dried up and unusable. The instructions say not to oil the wood, although the chairs were oiled when they arrived, the table was not, and a small bottle of teak oil was included. Minor annoyances but worth mentioning. Overall we're very happy with the quality of the chairs.. Marie. Nevada City, CA. Sun Jun 25 2023
