Satisfied the need and the kids enjoy it. Completed building in 2 days - totaling 6 hours or so with another body. Day 1 was more structure and day 2 was the final pieces that 1 person could handle. HIGHLY recommend the parts are organized prior to building - it helps immensely. Although, I don't feel like it is a product to last for years to come. During assembly there were times where screws when enter the wood and strip easily inside. Used shims to secure and fasten. It’s good and looks exactly as pictured. It wasn’t too difficult to put together, lots of parts but directions were simple. Only issue is pushingswinging on their own is a little tough or extra work. I think because, the chains hanging down are shortit’s not a tall swing set so just a lot of pushing to keep swinging. He stayed out with him all afternoon until early evening to get it finished. My husband said the instructions were easy to follow but it was labor intensive (as you would expect since it comes in skinny box). This set is perfect for my boys who are ages 5,3,18 months and 2 months so it gives them a good time to play with it as they get older. It would probably not be as entertaining for older kids though but imaginative play can be done anywhere. The kids were excited to play and both exclaimed they loved it and are looking forward to playing again tomorrow. Only time will tell to see how it handles the extreme nebraska summers and winters but I am very thankful we were able to test this out and for the boys to have an excuse to go and play outside.. This is a great set! We were thrilled to get such a good deal too. As other reviews mentioned, it did take six hours to build and some holes needed to be adjusted, but no hardware was missing. Don’t even attempt without a drill and have a second (possibly third) person to help. The “sandbox” area underneath doesn’t seem appropriate for sand because the planks are too low. I can’t imagine it holding much sand and a kid sitting on top, but it’s fine. We weren’t putting sand anyway. The kids think it’s a little secret hangout to play with other toys. You do need to use anchors or else the set will move with enough kids on it. The anchors are VERY long, so we bought shorter ones because we are anchoring into turf and not thick sod. If you live somewhere where you can have real grass, the anchors it comes with will be fine…. I have the kids swing opposite each other to balance out their weight just in case. Slide is sturdy and fast, but is mounted well for safe landing. The wide swing can hold two kids - that’s been a hit. What I’ve noticed, it’s a set for smaller children… like preferably toddlers. My daughters are 6 and 9 and they say it feels small, but still play on it fine. My oldest will have to eventually crouch and crawl, but kids are nimble lol. My son is 3 and it’s just perfect for him! We already had a party with a bunch of kids. At one point there were about 10 kids crawling all over this thing and it held up fine!
