This heavy-duty garden arbor is great! It arrived packaged very well, wrapped in bubble wrap. I had a little bit of a struggle with the instructions because the pieces were not labeled, but I was able to figure out how to attach each piece. About an hour after I assembled the arbor, we had a bad storm hit us and it did not budge! We had a couple of trees blown over, but the arbor stood tall! It comes with a couple of heavy-duty iron stakes that you hammer down about 2 feet into the ground. I'm sure that is what kept it so sturdy during the storm. Earlier this year we bought a wood arbor for our garden so we could have our grape plant climb it. Unfortunately it was not solid and it snapped while we were putting it together. I knew I wanted to replace it with something more sturdy. When I saw this iron arbor I figured it would probably be more well made. It is definitely sturdy and it comes with some stakes built into the arbor so it can stand up to the Texas elements. It’s a breeze to put together and very aesthetically pleasing.
