This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

Hard to build. Took several hours to build this. The frame is grey which was disappointing because I thought it was black. Once it was up, it looks nice and functions well.. Kelli. AB. Thu Aug 06 2026

Received my 16ft awning and installed today. Looks like excellent quality and everything worked as expected. No adjustments were necessary. Very satisfied with my purchase so far. The only issue was with the local delivery service which kept cancelling at the last moment. Not Wayfairs fault at all but they kindly gave me a discount to compensate, which I appreciate. The window awning frame is made from a blend of aluminum and steel, ensuring it is strong and reliable for use outdoors in all weather. Using 270g/m², the retractable sun shade auto awning features a PU coating on the top, helping to protect you from UV and sun glare without fading the color - allowing it to be used all year round.

Very pleased with the awning. Fits the space just right. Assembly was not overly difficult but the instructions could have been a bit more detailed. I looked at several videos related to assembly of the out sunning awnings and even though they were not for this exact awning it helped immensely. I was able to do the complete assembly by myself but needed help to lift the awning into place on the brackets. I mounted the brackets in the rim joist between the first and second floors... as such I needed to purchase some lag screws as the anchors provided with the awning were suited more to mounting on brick or concrete. The awning looks great and the motor is more than worth it as the manual crank takes quite a bit of turning to fully open and close.. Harry. Roanoke Va. Fri May 22 2026
