Right out of the packaging, our cooler had a 8" scratch on the front of it and some chips on one the corners. Sent them an email with pictures 6 days ago and we still haven't received a response. If you read the manual, the limited warranty is quite limited. 90 days and with a fair amount of exclusions. After each use, drying the cooler INSIDE & OUT is recommended. PS recommends it's stored inside and when it's outside, a weatherproof cover is recommended. We bought the PS cover, which arrived after our cooler and although it says it's weatherproof, the cover is quite thin.
