This is overall a nice purchase. We did get a defective piece that had a large cut in the pole, but Wayfair was quick to send a new one. The canopy itself is not well thought out. There’s no way you can just throw it over the top and expect it to stay. We have weaved it through the slats as well as made a few modifications that makes it more functional. Sturdy, but it doesn’t seem like the type of pergola that will last for a significant time. This is an awesome piece! The construction was not that hard and it is really beautiful! the curtain track or eyelets rust though. They forgot to include the rotation wand for opening and closing the louvers but we used something else cause I didn't ask for the proper wand after we put the pergola together.
