I'm proactively giving a good rating, and will be back after assembly tomorrow. Good price, and I did some comparisons. I'm disappointed about the delivery. I've had large items delivered before a walk-in tub, custom sofa sleeper and both times, with specific, confirmed delivery instructions - had to get assertive with delivery guys, who prefer to drop these and similar items on my driveway in plain site. For this gazebo delivery, my instructions were to put these heavy boxes in my garage, which didnt happen. The garage doors were wide open FedX never cooperates UPS does. I can always depend on UPS. Ill see how this Assembly goes and then write my review. I'M BACK! Paying for the assembly was smart. 2 guys in uniforms showed up 7 am promptly the day of the predicted storm, and moved the boxes into my garage. They returned the following morning 7 am sharp, laid out all the pieces and had the gazebo built and secured to my deck. Then with owner supervising, the drapes/netting hung with completion in record time at 10:30 am. The gazebo is absolutely beautiful. My neighbor even took pictures of it. Our previous canopy had a canvas top which needed replaced every year. I did most of the install myself. I had very little help which was even necessary. It took me four days, so I went slow and steady. The picture only instructions were really pretty good. All the parts were there and all the holes lined up. Which brings me to building of the gazebo. I left all major screws and bolts that attached the horizontal rails to the legs loose. One of the issues mentioned in reviews was being able to make this thing “square.” I’m handy, but square can be tough at times. By leaving screws and bolts loose, it allowed me to make the necessary adjustments when installing the roof panels. Once all the roof panels were installed, I tightened up all the screws and bolts. I love these pop up gazebos from eagle peak and have 3. They are easy to set up and help create a really cool outdoor space that feels private. I also used one of these as a chicken run and it works well. Only thing I would like to see is a middle brace pole to help prevent damage. Phenomenal gazebo. This is the third one I’ve ordered over the years and this one was the best. It took me and my brother 7 hours to put it together but we are pretty good at adult legos. When you go to stand the 4 posts up it took a little ingenuity. We drilled two post into the deck to temporarily hold it until we got all four supporting beams in place. Good Gazebo. The roof is as light as a feather. If u accidentally bend the panels in the roof It will rattle during windy days. Make sure to keep it straight. Aesthetically it looks nice. Minus 1 star for plastic cheap Curtain rings half of them broke during windy days when curtains were moving. It says 400lb but its still light if u live in high wind areas u might need to purchase something more strudy than this. I purchased the handy service for install those guys were professional and did an excellent job. However wayfair pays them pennies to install and they charge us $600+. Not fair wayfair. I love it. You’ll receive 4 large/heavy boxes for this gazebo. The packaging isvvery organized and the instruction are very clear - all in pictures. The gazebo is very time consuming and they recommend 7 people to assemble. We felt 4 could do it but it definitely takes more than 1 or 2. The final product is permanent and sturdy. I would highly recommend - but know this takes more than 1 weekend. But it’s worth the work. We could not even use our patio because it was too hot. We used to have a pool, which was perfect for that area, but no more. We desperately needed shade and this provides it. Very happy with the manufacturer and Wayfair. Would highly recommend.
