I'm so disappointed! When I tried to take the chairs out of the box it kept resisting so I turned the box over and the bottom chair had all four legs sticking out! I pulled the bottom chair out and didn't even have to unwrap the chair because the first thing I saw was scratches on the front of the arm. The box is flimsy and other than the thin paper wrapped around the chairs, there is absolutely no padding in the box. Horrible packaging. I'll contact customer service and see how they'll handle this issue. Update...Customer service was wonderful and sent me a replacement set. That box was delivered in worse shape than the first box. Contacted customer service again...I ended up taking the best of 8 chairs and the other four were returned at no cost to me and they even picked it up from my home. The chairs are well built, sturdy but light in weight. The armrests are real teak wood, beautiful and cool to the touch in the sun. The picture is right on with the color, they are taupe. First off, there was no assembly required and they were packed really well. When the description says light weight it’s not kidding. These chairs are extremely light weight. The cushion and woven back are more cream then grey - which I was hoping for. However, the listing photos had different lighting and some of the chair frames looked grey and others showed the frame in a warmer wood tone. They definitely lean grey, so be aware of that. The box was delivered today and had a large hole that either Wayfair or the shipper covered with a brown tape patch (only evident on opening the box). The bolts to fasten the frame (legs and seat/back) were too short and one seat/back was bent to where two bolts needed to be longer or angled differently. The chairs look nice but the engineering left a lot to be desired - from the plastic webbing in the way of the "bolt-sockets," to a broken knurled knob at the base of one of the legs (that I agreed to superglue). Received these very quickly. All metal parts were wrapped in plastic and cardboard to protect them. Assembly was a bit trying though. Very hard to get to the bolts in order to tighten them. Some felt like I was going to cross thread them . So I undid them and started again. I do recommend starting all of the bolts . But don't tighten them down until you have all of them in place . I tightened the first one all the way down. Then I had to loosen them to get the play that I needed for the final bolt to line up. The bottom cushion has ties. The two back ones are just throws .
