hand made solid cedar

This is a great choice for your porch, patio, or garden. So comfortable, you will love the contoured seat. The finished work and detail are incredible.

Nicely packaged. Sturdy pieces. Beautiful coloring. Easy assembly. Proportions make for a comfortable seat. Seats 2 adults comfortably with plenty of room to spare. We added teak oil based on other reviews to protect from UV damage and to bring out the color. Did not disappoint!. Jennifer. Allem Park, MI. Mon Aug 31 2020

This lovely bench matches the convertible bench/table set perfectly. It fits nicely at the end of the table to allow for expanded seating. And of course, it works well in any other place you might choose to put it as well.

I thought the bench was a little pricy at first, but after assembling, it proved to be worth the purchase. Assembly was pretty easy, we did use wood glue and clamps to reinforce because it will be used outside and in the mountains. The only drawback was the packaging. There was no way of removing the bench pieces from the box without splitting the entire box open. Foam was sprayed into the box around the already packaged pieces. If you planned to return the item, you would have to reconstruct the box. No way of breaking down the box and recycling. Besides, the packaging, we’re very satisfied with the workmanship, actually it looks better than the advertised picture.. Mary. Durango, CO. Tue May 22 2018

If it's a gift to be simple, this Backed Park Bench certainly fits the bill! The rustic design maintains its luxurious refinement with sanded-until-smooth edges and handcrafted workmanship. Create fantastic outdoor seating with a garden bench that will steal your heart.

Very well made quality bench. The assembly is a bit more than I thought. I bought some wood glue. I think it will be fairly easy. Love the look of it!. Angela. Walnut Creek. Wed Jul 19 2023

Lightweight enough to move when you need it - sturdy enough to stay put when you don’t.

Love it! It is not nearly as red as the picture, and the cleat was missing from the box, which is why I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. But it looks great overall.. Kate. Fredericton, NB. Tue Aug 25 2020

The end result is very good with an attractive, solid bench. It would have been five starts but got four as the assembly was a little more challenging than expected . First, our bench is only 34" wide, not the 36" advertised. I affixed the upper leg beam, dropped bolts in to the lower leg beam holes and positioned it on the legs - the holes did not align with the bolts. Same for the second leg. I had to drill new holes leaving some of the pre-drilled holes exposed. The diagram shows the braces with a gap between them. My braces were so long they had to overlap and were too long, sticking past the lower leg beam so I had to trim those. To me, that is sloppy manufacturing and easily avoided with tighter procedures and quality control. I can only upload one photo but took pics of all the issues I experienced.. Carol. Durham, AK. Benches will enhance the look of any table while giving you the extra seating space you need. This bench is made of Northern white cedar and pine. Many or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split, which does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty. Because the wood is naturally resistant to decay and insect damage, you will have a place to set your books, drinks or you, for a long time.

Sturdy, but lightweight. The wood turns a nice silver grey left outdoors. Useful as sidetables, stepstools and extra seating on deck and around firepit. Love the rustic look.. Jeanne. Mv And Roslindale. Mon Sep 21 2020

Bench is great quality. Did have to weather proof wood. Good value.. Theresa. Aston, PA. Mon Jun 16 2025

The red cedar royal high back garden bench features its signature contours in the back and seat that give you blissful lumbar support, while the extra-high headrest provides even more relaxation. This gorgeous red cedar bench will really help you to make the most of your leisure time.

It’s a pretty bench but it was fairly tough to assemble compared to other benches I’ve received and you will need additional tools than what is provided. The bench is unfinished and splinters very easily. You will want to stainprotect it. Also it’s a lot bigger in depth than I anticipated even though I read the measurements. It smells wonderful like cedar though.. Stacey. Concord, CA. Sun Aug 30 2020

Need a place to relax after a busy day, or would just like a special place to privately talk with someone special? Tete-a-Tete is the perfect choice. French, meaning head to head. Tete-a-Tete connects two chairs with a small table in between. The contoured seats add comfort that you and your favorite person will enjoy. The table adds convenience for placing drinks, or your favorite book. Made of durable northern white cedar with a pine table top, the wood is naturally rotting and insect resistant. You can finish this piece with a quality penetrating oil finish, or leave it alone to weather to a silvery gray color. Many, or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty. Won't it be nice to have a unique yard piece that even your neighbors will envy?

You may think 'Southern English' a curious combination. After all, the English aren't exactly known for their fondness of rebels, what with the way that colonist thing turned out and all. But then, they may have been quite tickled when the South reared up and gave the Yankees a big headache. While that is, of course, pure speculation, there is one certain thing: odd pairing notwithstanding, this solid red cedar bench is turned smashing! It'll make you want to say, “Pip! Pip! Yee-haaa!”

Serge. San Jose, CA. Wed Apr 19 2017

Looks great!! Not too hard to assemble (though highly recommend a drill) and feels sturdy. American-made western redwood cedar is the perfect bench for anywhere you would like extra seating.

Good quality, very sturdy, lovely finish and comfortable. Took a while to arrive, and arrived with two support ends rather beat up because the vendor did not put any padding inside the overly large shipping box or pad the 2 protruding pieces, but they aren’t much visible (in the back) and we will touch up. Plus Wayfair gave us a discount or the option to get another one. So we’re good. Really like the bench! Great soft green and the finish somehow brings out gold highlights. Detailing in woodworking is good. Some lag bolts to put in but not hard.. Day. Solvang, CA. Wed Jul 01 2020

Great piece for the price. I am over 200 lbs, and it is very sturdy. Light weight enough to move around easily.
