Beautiful! Bought it to disguise a propane tank in the little private courtyard of my cottage condo in Wilmington, NC. The only negatives are that it had no attached spikes for installing directly into the ground, and the posts had no end caps. Solved both issues-drilled a 38 hole 2.5 deep into each post, and hammered a 12 piece of 12 diameter rebar into the post, leaving 9.5 exposed to sink into the ground. Each piece will vary in size based on the diameter range given. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of pole. 1 pole per package. Color and appearance will vary due to the natural material used. Poles may have black spots, scratches, dings and other markings. These are natural and cannot be removed. Splits and cracks should not affect the durability of the bamboo as long as they do not go all the way through. Make sure any holes are pre-drilled prior to using screws etc.

This fencing consists of thick bamboo shoots connected with thin metal rods. The 6 by 8 fencing weighs over 80 pounds so it was somewhat difficult to handle. It does not come with any way to attach it to posts or support. My goal was to zip tie the fencing to metal posts along my property line so that I could cover the view of the side of my neighbor’s garage. I hoped to add a decorative touch to my garden area. Getting the fencing unboxed and set up required two people because of the weight. It is well made but it didn’t really solve my particular problem. I’m unsure how I’ll use the fencing now. It’s too heavy to move around easily. I’m also concerned it won’t hold up well to Chicago winter weather. Be prepared to figure out a way to support the fencing. For what it is, it’s well made.. Our Timor black timber bamboo poles come in an average of 2-3 inches in diameter. They are made up of a thick wall of heavy bamboo and are crack-resistant. This large solid Calcutta bamboo pole edging is a great accent to your garden. It is made of 1.5" diameter bamboo poles in an even across-the-top design. It is flexible and can be bent into different shapes, such as a circle. The top of the poles are cut just above the notch, so water will not accumulate in the bamboo poles. The bamboo is drilled and strung together using heavy galvanized wire and designed so that no wire is visible. Comes in a roll. It is flexible and very easy to install. The poles are 10" high and the edging is 72" long.

Its thick-walled culms make it ideal for heavy construction and foundational structures. Farmers and builders in Indonesia and Southeast Asia have long recognized the superior qualities of Asper as a building material. These giant poles lend themselves to creating majestic and durable structures. In terms of size and growth, Asper is comparable to the Latin American Guadua angustifolia. While there's a friendly rivalry over which species is stronger, the fact that many farmers are planting Asian Asper in South America and Africa, whereas few are bringing Guadua to Asia, indicates Asper's greater global appeal. Each pole will vary in exact size, color and appearance due to the natural material. Diameter may vary within half an inch of the listed size. Our Timor black timber bamboo poles come in an average of 2-3 inches in diameter. They are made up of a thick wall of heavy bamboo and are crack-resistant. Color and actual diameter will vary due to the natural material. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of each pole, only that they will be between the diameter of 2-3 inches. Bamboo poles may also have different diameters at either end, this is due to the way bamboo grows.
